Keeneland, Horse Racing tracks in Kentucky, USA

Keeneland race track is in the town of Lexington, the world capital of racehorse breeding, where the Bluegrass Stakes are held every year approximately three weeks before the Kentucky Derby. Opened in 1935, Keeneland also provides superior year-round training facilities and conducts yearly race meetings during the months of April and October.

 

Keeneland has two racetracks:

Main Track: One and one-sixteenth miles, oval.

Turf Course: Seven and one-half furlongs, oval.
